Or: “Why customer service is dead.”
The normal work day starts at 9am and goes until 5pm. We all know this. Why doesn’t UPS? If I see another brown and yellow sticker saying “must call to reserve package or else it will be sent back” I am going to scream.
Please, I beg you: attempt to drop the package off three times. If I’m not home before 5:00 on a regular basis on week days, don’t ever expect to see me. I know customer service will go on about liability, but the fact remains: the objective of a delivery service is delivery. If I have to drive my car across the city 3 days later to pick up a package, that is not good customer service. Period.
