Life, web, and caffeine. By Pat Collins.
Hello, everybody. My name is Pat, and I am addicted to Mint.
“Hi, Pat.”

Oh, hi Shaun. You’re here too? Must be the free coffee.
It makes my day when I see that beautiful green screen. I just can’t get enough. I blame it on Shaun. I blame it on his ability to build a superb program that makes my web statistics so darn enthralling. Most of all, I blame it on my need to know all the details. When I smile and lean forward to browse my Mint stats, I feel like a mad scientist watching his creations come alive with browser versions and IP addresses. It’s fun watching visitors travel between the 5+ sites I’ve installed Mint on. Sick, I know.
I came up with a fairly unique way to say hello to someone you know has Mint. For a lack of a better term, I’ll call it a MintGreet. Observe:

Now imagine the inner monologue: “How nice, someone took the time out of their busy schedule to say hi while updating their portfolio.” Warm, fuzzy feelings all around.
Hey! I like that.. might just set aside some time tonight and greet some fellow minters. Good call!
“Sick, I know.”
No, this is just plain pathetic.
I always enjoy seeing the:

Paul: Very cool. I’ve joined in. The stats people post are most impressive. I love how Mint can take thousands upon thousands of hits without blinking.
