Life, web, and caffeine. By Pat Collins.
Tuesday night I ventured down to Aldo Coffee to try the Brazil Santa Inês coffee that Rich had hyped on his blog. Local coffee enthusiasts came to taste the award winner and raved. I had to sample it for myself.
Two words: coffee heaven.
My coffee palate is at an amateur level, but the excellence of this coffee is hard to deny. The Santa Inês tingled with complex citrus notes and was so incredibly drinkable that I could not put it down. By the time I knew it, a big chunk of cash was gone from my pocket to snatch myself a quarter pound of it to take home.
That quarter pound is already gone. Go figure.

Pat,
Glad you enjoyed it.
We’ll be getting some other great Cup of Excellence coffees from Central America throughout the summer and early fall. Not as expensive - won’t be $5/cup, more like $3 or so. Will let you know.
