Without me knowing, the guy from the Yuppie Bagel Shop gave me one of the black plain bagels with my coffee this morning. Since the Steelers are still in the playoffs and playing Denver this weekend, it was a reasonable assumption that I was a fan and that I wouldn’t mind consuming some city pride. Well, I’m still alive at least.

Happy January 2nd! I’m happy to be doing nothing today. My daily routine is usually inundated with students packing in next to me on the bus or horrible drivers trying to take me out. Today, Pittsburgh seems empty as almost everyone has the day off.
