Convinced Gmail is messing with me

Gmail seems to be resizing my browser windows on me. I have diagnosed this through days of observation. Every Firefox window that has a Gmail tab in it seems to RESIZE itself on every AJAX-reload new tab the popular web mail client performs has. This is not only ANNOYING but detrimental to my WORKFLOW.
